ReStores that accept donated items to sell to the general public. Proceeds from the stores cover the affiliate's overhead costs, so 100% of each monetary contribution goes toward fulfilling Habitat's mission in the community.
The stores are of huge value not only to the affiliate, but to the community as well. We aim to fulfill our responsibility to the environment by keeping items out of the landfill. Why throw away what can be reused, recycled and restored?
If you or anyone you know has something to donate, contact us today, and schedule your FREE pick-up. A tax receipt is provided with all donations.
Deconstruction - If you are remodeling a home or commercial building we have a deconstruction team that will come to your location FREE of charge and remove the items that you are disposing of. We work with homeowners and contractors to reduce your removal and landfill costs. Habitat will sell your recycled items in our ReStore to raise money to build and renovate Habitat homes for low income families in our community. We typically remove cabinets, doors, appliances, toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, bookcases and much more... We provide a tax deductible donation receipt.
